Our subconsciousness guides us
95% of our day is guided by our subconscious. Only in 5% are we aware of what we are doing. Which is good, otherwise we would have to think of every heartbeat.
But the subconscious also takes over most of our reactions.
Up to an age of 6 years our brain is in a delta or theta brain wave state. If today our brain is in theta waves, we are in hypnosis. That means the first 6 years of our life we are in sleep or hypnosis. We absorb everything and store it in our brain. But everything goes in unfiltered as we do not yet have the analytical means to put events and experiences into context and judge them. These unfiltered data are stored and form the database of our lives. Every future event in our life is compared with this database and we react as we have stored it.
The subconscious recognizes something in the outside world and looks for the same or similar events one has experienced and reacts as in the previous situation. The subconscious does not act, it only reacts. It has various programs that have been created through experiences, events and examples of people around us, which were important to “survive” back then. It doesn’t analyse, it just runs a program without reflecting on whether the conditions of that time are still right at all. And we cannot influence it, because we are not aware of it.
An example
That can go so far that a person gets always fearful, if that person sees a man with red hair and has no idea why. Most likely there is an event when the person was a small child and felt threatened by a man with red hair. Every time the person now sees a man with red hair, the subconscious looks for similar experiences and gives the instruction: Man with red hair -> danger! The person itself has no idea why.
Of course we also create new programs later, but often in traumatic or repetitive situations
Energetic Psychology
Energetic psychology are methods that involve the body and its meridian system in changing negative emotions and limiting beliefs.
Through specific interventions on the level of the body system, e.g. tapping on the right acupuncture points, energetic processes are stimulated.
In contrast to acupuncture, in energetic psychology the acupuncture point is not stimulated with needles, but by tapping. The effect on the mental area seems to be even greater than with needle acupuncture.
By tapping on the acupuncture points and other methodical approaches of energetic psychology, one achieves rapid dissolutions of inner blockages and limiting beliefs and gets to a positive change of one’s feelings.
The rapid change
The surprising thing about energetic psychology is the incredibly fast change that can occur. Within a very short time, negative emotions, obstructive attitudes (beliefs), evaluations and body feelings dissolve. Feelings are very closely related to body perceptions. Therefore it seems only logical to include the body in the change of negative emotional states.
Clients do not need to have stressful images or situations permanently present during the session, in some cases it works even without emotional participation. This makes the session much less stressful.
The clients experience how the stimulation of the points can change these emotions (permanently!). Negative experiences and images as well as unpleasant body feelings change spontaneously.
Deleting emotions
Tapping can actually erase these negative emotions. The subconscious says: react! The body is flooded with hormones that trigger the feeling. If we now tap, there is a feedback from the body: Everything is OK, you don’t have to react any further. That deletes the trigger for the feeling.
This can sometimes take time, because many problems are complex and consist of many different feelings, but when you have “neutralized” them all, you are no longer triggered emotionally.
If you live your whole life with the same emotions and the resulting reactions in your body (especially stress), you weaken your body and you often develop pain and illness. If you solve the emotional component, you can help body and soul to get back into balance.
